2021 Workshop Details

StoryBox Arts are located in Cooroibah, Sunshine Coast, Qld. Our fun multipurpose garage studio is set on a picturesque two and a half acres of tropical landscaped gardens with a splash of bushland.

We offer small-group art workshops and creative writing workshops for children in the following age groups:

Kinder-Prep, Yrs 1-3 and Yrs 2-6

Our school term and holiday program include but, is not limited to, experiences in drawing with different media, including pencil, biro, pastels, and charcoal, painting with watercolours, acrylics, and special effects such as marbling, scratch art, and other mixed media activities, including collage, to name a small selection. Wherever possible, we endeavor to include artistic styles and introduce students to a variety of artists who have made an impact in the art industry. We love to make use of children’s literature to link to our artistic experiences.

We often take walks around the grounds to practice observational drawings, short mindfulness exercises and breathe in the quiet, fresh air where the coast meets the hinterland.
